The online Master of Public Health (MPH) program from nationally ranked Tufts University School of Medicine addresses public health through a multidisciplinary, evidence-based lens with an emphasis on social justice and equity.¹

We offer two concentrations that enable you to focus on the area of public health that best aligns with your career goals:

Epidemiology and Biostatistics

Design studies, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, learn data collection and management skills, and apply statistical techniques.


Population Health Promotion

Plan and implement evidence-based public health programs and create messaging to improve health outcomes for communities and populations.

Collaborative Online and In-Person Learning

As a student, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop marketable skills, such as constructing surveys and analyzing public health data.
  • Attend face-to-face online classes, where you’ll confront health inequities and explore behavioral science.
  • Work with an outside organization on a public health challenge in an Applied Learning Experience (ALE).
  • Collaborate with accessible School of Medicine faculty who bring multidisciplinary expertise to the classroom.

Complete the program in as few as 20 months attending full time. A bachelor’s degree is required to apply.
